2019 - 2022
I started Café Rouge because I wanted a space where literature could step off the page, and where my brilliant friends who write could share their work with others. What began as a small gathering soon grew into a recurring series of evenings, where writers, poets, and audiences found themselves in conversations they hadn’t expected. It was never just an event; it was an exchange - between the intimate and the public, between the finished piece and the work still in search of its form.
Since then, Café Rouge has been invited into places like Museum Night, the Anne Frank House, and Zoku.
