My name is Miray. I’m a Dutch-Turkish creative. I graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in 2024 and now work as a writer at 72andSunny Amsterdam where I work with Camila Trapasso. That’s going pretty well. We’ve already won 3 pitches in our first months: Heineken, Booking.com & Pandora.
Before that, I worked at Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam, where Susan Hoffman said very nice things about me. Something I casually bring up whenever possible: “At Wieden + Kennedy I’ve seen Miray’s work: fast, visual, and grounded in an attentiveness that pulls meaning from the smallest details. She doesn’t wait for inspiration. She creates it.”
And now for the part where I quote myself:
I write words that make people laugh, cry, or stop for a second. I come up with ideas that don’t always fit neatly in a room. I think in images just as much as I think in words, which is why you'll usually find me making mock-ups, designing visuals, or finding ways to bring an idea to life beyond the page.
I'm here not just to dream, but to make things. To move fast. To put work into the world, test it, break it, improve it, and play with it. To answer questions, solve problems, and, if I'm lucky, make someone feel something.
